WATCH: Incredible Lebanese wedding proposal on a yacht!

Wedding season is here, and like other people around the world, many Lebanese couples are wasting no time getting hitched.

In a YouTube video posted by Ali Wehbi, Ali is seen taking his blindfolded girlfriend out on a boat covered in red roses.

When she took the blindfolds off,  Ali popped the question — “Will you marry me?”

His now-fiancée Maya said yes!

Lebanese couple engaged after meeting for first time

(BEIRUT) — A Lebanese couple who connected on Facebook and had a long distance relationship for 10 months met face-to-face for the first time in Beirut, and were engaged moments later.

Ramez Yassine, who lives in Lebanon, and Inaam Allaham, who lives in Dearborn Heights, Mich., spent months dating through online video chats.

But when Allaham flew to Lebanon to meet Yassine for the first time, Yassine had other plans. This wasn’t just a meet-and-greet; Yassine staged a full-blown engagement party in the Beirut International Airport parking lot.

“I’ve never seen her or felt her hand, or even smelt her scent,” Yassine said, in a YouTube video posted on Oct. 5. “But somehow I’ve never felt more in love with a person like that before.”

Moments after Allaham landed in Beirut, she was engaged!

“Today is going to be the first day I ever meet her,” Yassine said, before heading to the airport. “We chatted on Skype, Tango, and every possible video audio chat you can ever think of.”

Lebanese man proposes to girlfriend by drone!

(BEIRUT, LEBANON) — A Lebanese man used a drone recently to organize a surprise proposal to his girlfriend on the rooftop of the Four Seasons Hotel in Beirut.

A relaxing dinner overlooking the beautiful Zaitunay Bay was interrupted by an incoming drone carrying the proposal ring.

Hotel guests sealed the deal as they applauded around the couple.

Surprise drone proposals are becoming increasingly popular around the world, prompting the United States Federal Aviation Administration to add new regulations on all “small unmanned aircraft systems.”

VIDEO: Marriage proposal at Beirut International Airport

(BEIRUT, LEBANON) — A Lebanese man organized a surprise marriage proposal to his Ukrainian girlfriend Yana Kozachina at the Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport on Nov. 25.

Georges Chahoud brought his film crew to document his big day on camera!

“It was amazing! Words are not enough to express all my feelings at that moment,” wrote Yana Kozachina on Facebook.

Chahoud has photographed over 90 weddings in Gulf countries and Europe and over 1,400 weddings in Lebanon, according to his website.
